How Do Baby Kangaroos Grow Up?

A baby kangaroo is called a joey. When a joey is born, it is tiny, about the size of a jelly bean! It cannot see or hop yet. It crawls into a special pouch on its mother's belly, where it stays safe, drinks milk, and grows for months before it hops out on its own.
