Where Does Rain Come From?

When the sun warms puddles, rivers, and the sea, some of the water turns into a gas you cannot see and floats up into the sky. High up it gets cold and turns into tiny drops that gather into clouds. When the drops get heavy enough, they fall back down as rain. This never-ending journey is called the water cycle.
