How Does a Caterpillar Become a Butterfly?

A butterfly does not start out with wings. It begins as a tiny egg, hatches into a caterpillar, and eats and eats until it is much bigger. Then it wraps itself in a hard case called a chrysalis. Inside, its body changes completely, and after a while a butterfly comes out ready to fly.
