Why Are Sloths So Green?

Sloths live in the rainforests of Central and South America, hanging upside down in the trees. They move so slowly that it takes about a minute to travel just 4 metres. Sloths are so slow and still that tiny green plants called algae grow right on their fur, which gives them a greenish colour and helps them hide among the leaves.
