Where Is the Biggest Hot Desert?

The Sahara is the biggest hot desert in the world, and it spreads across the top of Africa. It is so large it covers almost a third of the whole continent. A desert is a place that gets very little rain, and most of the Sahara gets less than 20 millimetres of rain in a whole year, which is why so much of it is sand and bare rock.
