What Makes a Rainbow?

Rainbows appear when sunlight passes through raindrops in the sky. The raindrops act like tiny prisms and split the white sunlight into seven colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. You can only see a rainbow when the Sun is behind you and rain is in front of you.
